This piece symbolizes the connection between the Eagle, Salmon and the People. The human figure in the chest of the Salmon shows how people are dependent on the spiritual energy of the Eagle, and the abundance of the Salmon for our lives to sustain. Likewise, the Salmon feeds the Eagle, while the Eagle is a conduit between the land-locked creatures and the Creator, carrying prayers and messages back and forth.
